You want to evaluate the impact of active substance or environmental factors on the expression of an individual's gene.
In order to evaluate/assess the changes that occurred during exposure to the molecule of interest, we can either determine the level of expression of a target gene by qPCR using cDNA obtained by reverse transcription of the RNA of interest, or perform random sequencing of the transcriptome by RNA-Seq.
The choice of method will be based on the number of genes to be studied.
